Beyonce Knowles: Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation Diamond Ball and Private Concert

The stars shinesat the Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation Diamond Ball and Private Concert on Saturday, Oct. 4, as acclaimed luminaries Beyoncé Knowles and Smokey Robinson, joined by musical prodigy Ethan Bortnick, take the stage at AmericanAirlines Arena for the charity event of the year.
Beyonce Knowles was the center of attention at the 2008 Diamond Ball And Private Concert last night (October 4).

The “Irreplaceable” singer was the guest of honor at the glitzy gala which hoped to raise as much money as possible for the Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation.
The Diamond Ball and Private Concert is co-chaired by Patricia and Thomas Cornish, Vivian and Juan Carlos Mas, and Bibiana and Mario Murgado. Last year’s inaugural event at the Ice Palace Film Studio raised more than $1 million in support of the children.
Beyoncé rose to fame as lead singer of Destiny’s Child, the best-selling girl group of all time. After going solo, she released Dangerously In Love, a highly successful album that produced two No. 1 singles and earned her five Grammy Awards. Her most recent album, B’Day, released in 2006, went triple-platinum.
