Miley Cyrus perform & backstage at the 2008 American Music Awards, Los Angeles

The 36th Annual AMA is hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, and Beyonce, Christina Aguilera and Miley Cyrus have been lined up as performers for the American Music Awards.

“I am so excited to be able to perform live for my fans at the American Music Awards and celebrate my Sweet 16 too,” Cyrus, who turns 16 on November 23, said in a statement.

Miley performed her new single “Fly on the Wall” at the event, which took place at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE on November 23, 2008 in Los Angeles, California. The performance increased the seductiveness of her red carpet dress.

The “Hannah Montana” teen sensation wore a strapless gold and black draped mini dress with a large bow on the waist. She accessorized with black satin pumps, matching double drop earrings, a pendant necklace and a triple flower ring on her right hand middle finger.
