Various celebs dazzles at Launch Party for photographer Nicole Maloney’s new book of portraits, RARE. Los Angeles hosted by Rick Caruso on oct 22.

The breathtaking portraits capture artists, actors, doctors, entrepreneurs, musicians and ordinary people juxtaposed with images of exotic animals, birds and reptiles,which are designed to symbolize the eternal relation of mankind with nature. James Caan with a bison, Rick Caruso with a cougar and NYFD firefighters wearing translucent wings are just a few of the images from the book.

The event feature a book signing by the author and appearances by people featured in the book including, Dustin Hoffman, Cindy Crawford, James Caan, Greg Kinnear, Heather Graham, Lori Loughlin, Amber Valetta and Rebecca DeMornay. Also attending, Kristin Cavallari, Bridget Moynahan, Penelope Ann Miller, Harry Dean Stanton and Steve Tisch, Mossimo Gainnulli, Tippi Hedren, Dayna Devon, Lisa Taylor, Gig Levangie Grazer, Peter Guber, Nadia Fares, Anya Kochoff and Leonard Kleinrock.
